The Problem
When was the last time you went to the dentist? Sometimes, without realizing it, it can be a year or more without visiting.
According to the latest national survey, 15% of Spaniards suffer from odontophobia, a condition that is often triggered by previous unsatisfactory experiences in the dental clinic, usually during childhood, although it can also be an irrational fear with no apparent reason.
With a timeframe of a week and a half, we have worked on the challenge of reinventing the dental visit and enhancing the oral health experience. To achieve this, we utilized the Design Thinking methodology. Our client for this project was Adeslas

Proposed solution
Here we come to the crucial question: Have COVID and constant healthcare cuts contributed to the increase in insurance hiring in Spain, as more people seek to protect themselves from unforeseen situations? Through surveys, we found that users are concerned about the cost of treatments.
After reviewing various insurers, we noticed that Adeslas has not effectively developed its dental portal.
Our proposal is a technology that enhances communication between the dentist and the patient, allowing the patient to express their preferences during the appointment: whether they prefer conversation, if they have fears, if they want to know the steps of the procedure, etc.
As a result, the dentist considers these responses to build a relationship of trust and rapport with the patient, providing a more pleasant and strengthened experience for both parties.

" 'Nothing in life should be feared; it should only be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less.' - Marie Curie
This is where we want to emphasize that times change, and so do customers. By promoting clear and seamless dialogue between the patient and the professional, we establish a prominent position in the market by prioritizing the customer experience."
